I was in the aviary last Saturday — visiting, and checking our pets condition. We have over a hundred birds - couples, chicks, and singles looking for their pair.
That Saturday wasn’t an ordinary day at the aviary..
But first, let me tell you the background of the story. A lovebird pair has 5 or 6 fertile eggs - and its a lot! Its more than an average pair can handle - very risky. So what we did (as we always do), we moved the egg to a new nest, new parents. So we placed the egg beside the real eggs of the foster parent. It was ok.. but not until saturday.
The foster parent cracked the egg! We observed it for 5 hours, and nothing changed - still the same partly-cracked egg. To save the chick’s life, we have to get her off the shell.

Its very tiny — same size of my thumb nail. I had to carefully take her off the shell. To appreciate it better, here’s the video:
I had a “general cleaning”. I spent almost a whole day wiping, sweeping, and moving the furniture’s around. Definitely, it was tiring.. yet, its worth it
I’d like you to meet my new roommate, ANNIE. She (or he) is a lutino african lovebird. I’ll blog more about her soon..

Anyway, welcome to my room. This is practically where I spend my whole day, everyday. This is where I work, sleep, eat, and do-nothing.. I’m sure, work-at-home employees understand me fully well.

It helps to have a clean and comfortable room to keep my sanity intact, especially that Im here almost all the time ![]()
For 2 consecutive days, we had our “family conference”. I caught my brother, kuya ric, online (he is currently in Washington DC). He rarely goes online because of his busy sched in the hospital. So when i saw his yahoo icon up, i immediately messaged him, and called the rest of our folks. We were all in our individual houses, thats why I had to call them one by one just so they’d log in.

We chatted hours of non-sense talking. It was funny because their children, and our pets are part of the session. We were all on webcam (except for kuya art) and voice conference. It was loud and cartoony.
I miss them. I miss how we were when we’re still living in one house.
I got the coolest folks in the world ![]()
I have lots of work of many kinds. I do SEO and PPC (as my full-time employment, and other consultancy jobs on the side), I host and coordinate weddings, i sell and breed lovebirds, and my most recent job? a real estate broker!
Originally, my objective was just to help (and be a good companion) of this friend broker *laughing inside*. From there, i learned about different condos and properties in prime areas in Metro Manila, I learned the processes involved in this hard and tricky industry.
As I learn more about this industry, I tried to merge Real Estate with my SEO skills. That’s when I started ManilaCondo.Info. We got a couple of inquiries for rental, sale, and property investments from this site (which is good)
Now, I got another step forward. I closed my first ever real estate sale! yey! I sold a 40.5sqm studio-type condo, in Manhattan Parkview Tower 2, in Manhattan Garden City. I’m now an official, accredited broker of Manhattan Garden City (developed by Megaworld Corporation).
Do you want to buy a condo in Manhattan Garden City and be my second sale?
Its so easy to own a unit, the financial plan is just right for professionals and OFWs. Do you know why it’s easy?
Email me or call me if you’re interested

Im here in one of the offices I go to. Unfortunately, they dont have a wifi router that I can connect to. So everytime I go here, I connect my laptop to an unsecured network of a company that tutors Korean’s online, just a floor away from us. And yes, they have an IP Address in Korea!
Now, Google thinks I’m in korea. hahaha.

does love lasts forever?
we always ask this question, and often cant find a concrete answer.
we dream of a good life, fairytale wedding, beautiful house, cute children, and love-full and never-lonesome everyday ahead.
but is this dream only a dream to many?
its depressing to find couples with seemingly strong relationships, with many years of companionship, yet their “love” ends so simply.
its sad how people’s dream fades, how plans break, and how life stops after it.
im really sad to know my 2 good friends, who were together for over 5 years, who got engaged last year, broke up. its over.
the girl texted me “…wala ng wedding, jen. im very very sad..”
*sigh*
A new project was lauched to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters — its called Jeepney Magazine. They call it a street magazine, with articles focused on poverty and other national issues related to health, wealth, education, children, and more. It has high quality publishing (good articles), and printing (multi-colored, all gloss from front to back).

So where can you buy this magazine? You can buy the Jeepney Street Magazine at the streets. These magazines are distributed only by the poorest of the poor — not in malls, not in bookstores. One copy is worth P100 — P50 goes to the publisher, and the other P50 directly goes to the pocket of the seller. Just think of how far can that P50 do to them in a day. Perhaps that would be full meal for their whole family, or maybe for medicines of a sickly family member.
When you see someone on the streets offering you the Jeepney Magazine, please buy atleast 1, or better yet, buy more. Then give a copy to your friends, officemates, or whoever.
I can definitely say that you should buy this magazine not only to help, but to widen your understanding of reality.
Please buy Jeepney magazine on streets at P100 each
A friend recommended us to try Blue Room in SM Mall of Asia. The food is good, the prices are fair, and the place is not crowded. Pasta ranges around P130-180. Btw, I like their seafood pasta — well, i’ve always loved seafood pasta
try it too
