Sunshine (other lovebird), was going light.. she’s getting weaker and lighter each day. And so i thought that i should separate her and give her better attention. That’s when i decided to switch moby and sunshine’s place. And so sunshine is alone on Moby’s cage.. and Moby is with 3 other birds on the other cage.

Yesterday was moby’s first attempt to mingle with other lovebirds on a cage. Believing in her strength, I moved her to a new cage with 3 other birds. She’s been alone on a cage since her early days.

This morning, i saw moby bleeding and A LOT of her feathers were plucked off. She was very very light and weak. She cant even move or walk or fly. The other birds on the cage  attacked her.

After a couple of hours of “force-feeding” her, and giving meds.. she didnt make it.. she died on my hands.

On her last few hours, she never wanted to leave my side. I tried to move her a couple of times to a comfortable place to rest, yet she forces her weak body to move right next to me.. and closes her eyes to rest.
